Website Purchase Policy

  1. Non-Customizable Templates
    All websites available for purchase are specifically designed for our customers—the home inspector! The design elements of these websites are fixed and strategically laid out for the benefit of the home inspector and their business. Therefore, they cannot be altered. Colour scheme, portrait photography, and customer information are collected from the customer through the provided form.

  2. Content Submission
    Customers are required to provide all requested content to complete their website. The website creation process commences once all necessary information has been received.

  3. Turnaround Time
    Upon receipt of all required content and the purchase of a hosting subscription, the website will be accessible on the world wide web approximately 2-4 weeks after purchase.

  4. Edit Provision and Final Approval
    Two rounds of edits are included with the purchase prior to launch. Customers will have the opportunity to review their website and request changes before it goes live. Any additional edits beyond this initial round may incur extra charges. The annual hosting subscription includes three complimentary edits sessions that can be utilized after your site is live. If you have a monthly subscription, edit sessions can be purchased separately. The website will be made public only after final approval from the customer following the provided round of edits.

  5. Payment Terms
    Full payment for the website is required upfront before any work begins. Payment is non-refundable once the website creation process has started. All prices are in US dollars.

  6. Hosting Subscription and Cancellation
    A hosting subscription is necessary to make the website live. Annual or monthly hosting subscriptions can be purchased here.
    Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions can be canceled with 30 days' notice by submitting a request through the Contact form here. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no prorated refunds will be issued for the remaining days in the cycle. You will receive a confirmation email once your cancellation request has been processed.
    Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. Once purchased, your subscription will remain active for the entire year.
    What happens if I cancel my hosting subscription?
    If you cancel your hosting subscription with inspecta-site, your website will be archived for 60 days. After this period, the website will be permanently deleted, and the data will no longer be retrievable.

    Can I take ownership of my website if I cancel the subscription?
    Yes, you can request to take full ownership of your website for a transfer fee of $100. This request must be made within 60 days of canceling the hosting subscription. Upon transferring ownership, you will assume complete responsibility for managing the website, and inspecta-site will no longer be responsible for any commitments or responsibilities.

    What is the notice period for canceling the hosting subscription?
    Hosting subscriptions require 30 days' notice for cancellation.

    Is the current billing cycle refundable upon cancellation?
    No, the current billing cycle is non-refundable.

    Can I make my site live again after cancellation?
    Yes, you can request to reactivate your website within the 60-day archive period. After 60 days, the site and its data will be permanently deleted and will no longer be retrievable.

  7. Intellectual Property
    The templates and all associated design elements are the intellectual property of inspecta-site. Customers are granted a license to use the website for their business but do not own the underlying design or code.

  8. Liability Limitation
    inspecta-site is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the website. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses.

  9. Indemnification
    Customers agree to indemnify and hold inspecta-site harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of their use of the website or breach of this policy.

  10. Changes to Policy
    inspecta-site reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.

  11. Privacy Policy
    Customer information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner.

  12. Support and Maintenance
    Basic support is included with the hosting subscription. This includes ensuring the website is live and functional. Any additional support or maintenance services may incur additional fees.

  13. Termination of Service
    inspecta-site reserves the right to terminate service if a customer violates the terms of this policy or engages in any activity deemed harmful or illegal.

  14. Governing Law
    This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and Canada. Any disputes arising from this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States of America and Canada.

  15. Acceptance of Terms
    By purchasing a website from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy and any future modifications.
